NEET 2021 Expected Cut Off for Government Colleges

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) conducts the exam according to the international standards. The purpose of taking NEET exam is for the admissions in India’s top MBBS and BDS colleges.

The NEET 2021 will conduct exams for one exam in a year only. The candidates can take admission via NEET in government colleges also.

Unlike the previous year, this year, candidates have some hope to get the results on time. Students will be eagerly waiting for the result declaration. Government college is the first institution that strikes in every candidate’s mind. They will also want to know the cut off of the government colleges as well.

NEET 2021 Cut Off Marks 

Here is the approximate expected cut off of NEET 2021 for 15% All India Quota for Top Government Colleges.

The candidates can check the official website for the cut off marks. The cut off for the NEET counselling under 15% All India Quota seat will be declared in the 2021 June. The merit list declaration based on NEET results.

The National Test Agency (NTA) calculates the percentile of the candidates. The candidate’s percentile depends on three factors: number of candidates, range of marks, and categories.

The Merit List for the Counseling for 15% All India Quota  

The number of seats in MBBS and BDS colleges under All India Quota (15%) is dependent on the merit list. After the declaration of merit list, students wait for the waiting list. So, the waiting list depends on four times the seat available in the merit list. Candidates must also know that the number of seats in the exam is more as compared to the percentage of the seats is less. So, candidates have to be diligent to crack the NEET examination in 2021.

The Merit List for the Counselling for the State Quota 

The National Test Agency (NTA) will provide 85% state quota for All India Ranking in MBBS and BDS colleges. According to the rank in the merit list, the candidates will get a call for counselling. The merit stands on the result of the NEET examination. Also, all the rules of the exam apply to all the aspirants.

How to check NEET 2021 Cut off?  

The following are the steps to check the cut-off of the NEET 2021 exam:

  • Go to the official website of NEET. Check the Answer Key.
  • Count the number of incorrect and correct answers.
  • Now, with the help of the marking scheme, calculate the score.

[ Note: The method of calculation of the score is (total correct answers x 4) – ( total incorrect answers x 1)]

  • Now, match the score with the cut-off of different colleges.
